
MESEC MODRE RIBE
Septembra poteka Mesec modre ribe, povezan s projektom »Cesta modre ribe«, ki ga je zasnovala Turistična skupnost mesta Crikvenica, navdih pa je bila bogata ribiška zgodovina tega območja. Zakaj modra riba? Predvsem ker je bila v preteklosti eno izmed najpomembnejših živil v tradicionalni prehrani. Poleg tega so bili crikveniški ribiči že v 18. stoletju izkušeni in znani mojstrski lovci na modro, a tudi drugo ribo, številni pa so svoja znanja in veščine prenesli na generacije ribičev po vsem svetu. Na desetine restavracij na območju riviere se danes ponaša z znakom »Cesta modre ribe«, s katerim sporočajo, da imajo v stalni ponudbi jedi z modro ribo.
