CRO Race - International Bike Race - finish-4th stage

The sixth edition of the international cycling event CRO Race (UCI 2.1), will be held from September 28 to October 3.
This year's race will host 20 world cycling teams: 4 UCI World Teams (Jumbo Visma, Bahrain Victorious, Israel Start-Up Nation, and Bike Exchange), 7 UCI Professional Continental Teams (Caja Rural Seguros RGA, Equipo Kern Pharma, Androni Giocattoli Sidermec, Euskaltel Euskadi, Team Novo Nordisk, Uno-X Pro Cycling Team, and Bingoal WB) and 9 UCI Continental Teams (Cycling Team Friuli, HRE Mazowsze Serce Polski, Meridiana Kamen Team, P&S Metalltechnik, Team Felbermayr Simplon Wels, Team Vorarlberg, Adria Mobil, Voster ATS Team, and WSA KTM Graz). It will be held in 6 stages on a route of 1,080 kilometres through 13 counties throughout Croatia, so cyclists will enjoy the natural beauty of numerous destinations. The race will cover following stages: 1. Osijek - Varaždin (237 km), 2. Slunj - Otočac (187 km), 3. Primošten - Makarska (167 km), 4. Zadar - Crikvenica (197 km), 5. Rabac/Labin - Opatija (137.5 km) and 6. Samobor - Zagreb (156.5 km). The finish line of the last stage and the announcement of the overall winner this year will be at the Croatian National Theater on the Republic Square in Zagreb.
Cyclists will compete for a red jersey with details of recognizable Croatian red and white squares that belongs to the leading cyclist in the overall standings. The best cyclists in points and KOM competition, the best young rider under 23 and the best team in general classification will also be awarded at the end.
The organizer of the race is Top Sport Events, the company which successfully organized the past five editions of CRO Race, and is headed by the celebrated former Croatian cyclist Vladimir Miholjević.
As in previous years, the race will be broadcast daily by Croatian Radio Television and the live broadcast will be on Eurosport. Thanks to the collaboration with A.S.O. the television signal will be broadcast on six continents - in Europe, North and South America, Asia, Africa and Australia, in 190 countries.
