 
  A KÉK HAL HÓNAPJA
A Kék Hal Út projekthez keretében szeptemberben folyamán rendezik meg a Kék Hal Hónapot, amelyet környék gazdag halászati múltja ihletett, és amelynek fővédnöke Crikvenica Város Idegenforgalmi Hivatala. Miért kék hal? Először is azért, mert régen a hagyományos étrend egyik legfontosabb étele volt. Ezenkívül a crikvenicai halászok már a 18. században híresen tapasztalt mesterei voltak a kékhúsú és egyéb halak halászatának, és közülük sokan átadták tudásukat és tapasztalataikat a halászok késöbbi generációinak szerte a világon. A riviéra környékének tucatnyi étterme viseli ma a "Blue Fish Road" bélyegzőt, amely tanúsítja, hogy folyamatosan kínálnak kék halételeket.
