September on the Riviera Crikvenica

The sun slowly turns down its strength, but despite that, we will have a dynamic fall on the Riviera. September brings a lot of fun, gastronomy, sports and recreation, and other events. After the season opens the first weekend will brig joy to all the sweetlovers with delicious cakes, ice cream and desserts at the cake and ice cream festival. Crikvenica will be decorated with beautiful flowers and plants at the Flower Festival from the 13th to the 15th . Friday the 13th will not be unhappy for many abandoned pets, in honor of witch a charity concert will be held on the Stjepan Radic Square, beginning at 18 am.
On Sunday the 15th of September,we turn to sports and expected a dynamic day with first XCM Marathon race in mountain biking, "Croatian Cup 2013". Followed by "European Mobility Week" (September 16th to 22nd ), a full week of events dedicated to healthy living with the slogan "For clean air - It's your turn!".
The firefighters from Crikvenica have prepared an interesting program fro the 20th to the 22nd of September to celebrate two valuable anniversaries, 100 years of voluntary and 30 years of professional firefighting in Crikvenica, but with them the stars of the day will also be "Squid days", which will be dedicated to the culinary event fro the 20th to the 22nd of September. Besides, on these days we expected and exciting jet ski competition "Alpe Adria Cup" (September 20th to 22nd) in the waters in front of the main beach in Crikvenica.
And finally, one of the many events which celebrates 125 years of organized tourism in Crikvenica will be the tourism forum "Crikvenica – the Health Riviera", which will be held on the 25th of September in Thalassotherapia Crikvenica an will bring together top experts in the field of medicine, tourism and economy. On Tourism Day, the 27th of September there will be a formal session of the Assembly of the Tourist Board to formally mark the celebration of 125 years of Tourism.
