Crikvenica Food & Wine Walk
On Saturday, 26 September 2026, the Crikvenica Riviera once again becomes perhaps the most delicious walking route on the Adriatic – and registrations are now open!
The event takes place as part of the 14th Oily Fish Month, a festival that celebrates one of the most important ingredients of Crikvenica’s gastronomic tradition throughout September and October. And at the Crikvenica Food & Wine Walk, oily fish gets some very special treatment – served in creative bites, paired with carefully selected wines and accompanied by sea views that, fortunately, come with zero calories.
Now in its third edition, the event once again brings together everything that naturally goes hand in hand on the Crikvenica Riviera: the sea and gastronomy, oily fish and wine, walking and enjoyment, familiar faces and new friendships.
Participants can look forward to a hedonistic route from Jadranovo to Crikvenica, featuring seven food and wine stops. At each stop, participants will enjoy oily fish specialities paired with selected wines from Croatia’s wine regions.
Your hosts will be some of the excellent restaurateurs from the Crikvenica Riviera: Feral, Dida, Jadran d.d. Crikvenica (LeMoon Restaurant at Hotel Esplanade and Inter Café at Hotel International), and Aminess Younique Narrivi Hotel.
Add to that the sea accompanying you all along the way, the beginning of autumn on Kvarner, music, great company and a few surprise stops – and it soon becomes clear why the question here isn’t “How much further to the finish?”, but rather “Are we there already?”
The event starts at 10:00 a.m. at Grabrova Square in Jadranovo, with participants divided into five groups.

- 10:00 a.m. (registration at the starting point and collection of starter packs at 9:30 a.m.)
- 10:30 a.m. (registration at the starting point and collection of starter packs at 10:00 a.m.)
- 11:00 a.m. (registration at the starting point and collection of starter packs at 10:30 a.m.)
- 11:30 a.m. (registration at the starting point and collection of starter packs at 11:00 a.m.)
- 12:00 noon (registration at the starting point and collection of starter packs at 11:30 a.m.)
The Crikvenica Food & Wine Walk was designed precisely with this in mind – as a combination of food and wine, an outdoor experience and the beauty of the Crikvenica Riviera. It is a day when you discover the destination not only through what you see, but also through its flavours and aromas – with a glass of wine in hand.

Following two successful editions, the Crikvenica Food & Wine Walk enters its third year as an event that perfectly demonstrates how gastronomy can be a wonderful reason to explore a destination. This year’s story carries even greater significance thanks to Kvarner’s title as a European Region of Gastronomy.
And where better to celebrate a year dedicated to gastronomy than somewhere where the only thing standing between you and your next plate is – a beautiful walk by the sea?

The participation fee is €95.00 per person.
The participation fee includes: a starter pack, parking, transport, a guide, wine tastings and oily fish specialities at every stop, and a musical programme.

Only persons aged 18 and over may participate in the Crikvenica Food & Wine Walk. In the event of bad weather, the event will be cancelled, in which case participants will receive a refund of the participation fee paid. The organiser reserves the right to change the collaborators and partners involved in the event’s food and wine programme. Throughout the event, the organiser will take photographs and make video and audio recordings. Some of this material will be used for future promotional purposes.
