7th Music Festival - "Na Palade"
Music festival Na palade - kanat i štorije, which was created in 2018 as a symbol of the 130th anniversary of organized tourism in Crikvenica, will once again fill hearts with music and joy. The theme of this year’s festival is ethno music.
The seventh edition of our beloved festival will take place on June 19 at Stjepan Radić Square in Crikvenica, starting at 9:00 PM, on an impressive stage just steps away from the sea.
This year’s Na palade Festival takes us on a journey through the richness of ethno music and tradition - an evening filled with emotion, song, and stories that connect generations, regions, and musical expressions.
Under the starry skies of Crikvenica, the festival stage will feature powerful voices, renowned performers, and authentic interpretations celebrating musical heritage and contemporary ethno expression - from the sounds of Kvarner, Istria, and the Croatian coast, through Međimurje, old-town and Dalmatian melodies, to music from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Austria, Hungary, Italy, Ukraine, Ireland, Portugal, Mexico, France, and Brazil.
A special festival energy will also be brought by the music group Lelek, who have just stepped off the Eurovision stage and are already taking the Crikvenica stage, bringing a touch of the great European music scene to the Crikvenica Riviera.
Performers:
Lelek, Belfast Food, Bojan Jambrošić, Jelena Radan, Koktelsi, Mario Lipovšek Battifiaca, Alen Polić, Klapa Sveta Jelena, Infinity Band, Trio Veljak, Trio Rio, Klapa Vinčace, Tamburaši s Dunava, Joso Butorac, Katja Budimčić Sabljar, and Andrina Frleta.
Adding a special charm to the evening will be the štorije of Neven Barac - stories woven into our region, people, and customs, reminding us that words and songs have always gone hand in hand.
Guiding us through this evening of music, emotion, and tradition will be the fantastic hosting duo Uršula Tolj and Mario Lipovšek Battifiaca. As in every edition so far, the festival’s artistic director is Robert Grubišić.
Join us and be part of an evening where kanat will echo through the city centre, and stories will intertwine tradition, memories, and the spirit of togetherness.
In case of rain, the Na palade Festival will take place at the City Sports Hall, Kotorska 15c, Crikvenica.
