Magic Vinodol
VINODOL
Only a few kilometres from the coast and Crikvenica Riviera lies the magical Vinodol Valley with a string of quaint villages: Bribir, Drivenik, Grižane and Tribalj. Apart from its fine cultural and historical heritage, which includes three castles of the noble Frankopan family (Bribir, Drivenik, and Grižane), the Vinodol area offers numerous recreational opportunities for athletes or those looking for action-packed holidays:

- hiking trails and footpaths
- circular Stone Tower Trail
- hunting
- paragliding
- fishing on Lake Tribalj.
A distinctive feature of the Vinodol area is the way many rural holiday homes have been refurbished in the traditional style of the Vinodol region. Vinodol also offers an interesting choice of wine and original dishes.
Amongst the area's most popular events are the Vinodol Summer Evenings, the Rose of Vinodol, and the Figs and Sport Fishing Festival.

NOVI VINODOLSKI
In the immediate vicinity of Crikvenica lies Novi Vinodolski, a historic town which offers visitors an interesting mix of things to see and do, including:

THE EYES OF VINODOL
The Vinodol area is dotted with beautiful natural sights. Particularly attractive are the six vantage points that are now connected together by the project entitled "The Eyes of Vinodol". These vantage points offer a unique experience and magnificent views. When implementing the project, particular attention was given to protection of the natural environment with the aim of preserving the distinctive natural features of the local landscape.
Three vantage points are located within the Municipality of Vinodol. These are Mahavica above the village of Drivenik, Pridva above the villages of Grižane and Tribal, and Slipica above the village of Bribir. The other three vantage points are located in the area of the Town of Novi Vinodolski. These are Gradina above the village of Ledenice, Sviba above Sviba, and Kuk at Krmpote.
