"Friends of the sea" exhibition in Crikvenica

For the fourth year in a row, the fascinating exhibition ,, Friends of the Sea” is touring the squares and boardwalks along the Croatian Adriatic coast. Exhibition will be shown in Crikvenica from June 21st to 28th on the promenade next to the Main city beach.
This year, the exhibition from the cycle ,,Friends of the Sea 2013” presents fine art photography from the 1950s on 64 large formats. The main theme is life on the Adriatic coast of Croatia. Works were selected by the team of experts from the Rovinj Photodays Festival, and they were collected from the fundus of national museums, photo clubs and private collections : Museum of Arts and Crafts Zagreb, National Museum Zadar, Tošo Dabac Archive, City of Rijeka Museum, Photo Club Split, Photo Club Rijeka, private collection Orel, private collection Vučemilović.
The aim of the exhibition is to demonstrate the prominent culture of Croatian photographers from the 1950s to the national and foreign public. Authors: Ante and Zvonimir Brkan, Joso Špralja,Tošo Dabac, Nikola Vučemilović, Milan Pavić, Đuro Griesbach, Mladen Grčević, Fernando Soprano, Alojz Orel, Andro Damjanić, Ivo Tolić, Zlata Laura Mizner, Igor Emili, Viktor Hreljanović, Abdon Smokvina, Ervin Debeuc.
